Humble Beginnings 

In the heart of Pune, a remark­able jour­ney began in 2001 when a group of pas­sion­ate pro­fes­sion­als unit­ed with a sin­gu­lar vision: to cre­ate mean­ing­ful change. Peepal Foun­da­tion emerged not just as an orga­ni­za­tion, but as a bea­con of hope for the mar­gin­al­ized. Our sto­ry start­ed small but pow­er­ful — a hum­ble bal­wa­di in Hadap­sar, car­ing for chil­dren of con­struc­tion work­ers and labor­ers. What began as a mod­est day­care cen­ter soon blos­somed into a trans­for­ma­tive mis­sion. Over the years, we expand­ed our reach across Pune, Mum­bai, Lon­avla, and Dahanu touch­ing the lives of over 35,000 chil­dren and 200 elder­ly individuals.

Turning Point In 2007

Peepal Foun­da­tion launched its Child Edu­ca­tion, Devel­op­ment, and Empow­er­ment (CEDE) pro­gram, rec­og­niz­ing that edu­ca­tion is the most potent tool for social trans­for­ma­tion. Our approach was holis­tic — not just teach­ing, but nur­tur­ing young minds to become con­fi­dent, skilled individuals.

Our Commitment Today

Peepal Foun­da­tion stands as a tes­ta­ment to the pow­er of col­lec­tive com­pas­sion. We con­tin­ue to break bar­ri­ers, pro­vide oppor­tu­ni­ties, and cre­ate sus­tain­able change, one child, one com­mu­ni­ty at a time.
